Can I send mail to my camper?
We encourage family and friends to send letters or postcards to campers! Please send mail to: Camper’s name c/o Camp Marshall 41524 Melita Island Rd. Polson, MT 59860.
Will I be able to see photos of my camper?
Camp Marshall shares photos through Google Photos. We will send a link to the camp session for which you have registered. While we work to post photos daily, our priority is to be sure that each camper is learning, growing, and having fun at camp. Photos are meant to offer a glimpse into camp life, and not every camper will be photographed every day.
Medical
What happens if my camper becomes ill at camp?
We have healthcare staff with us during our summer camp sessions, and our health center is always open. If a camper needs to visit the doctor or stay for an extended period in our health center, or if there is a concern about a camper’s health, we will immediately attempt to make phone contact with the camper’s parent or emergency contacts.
What if my camper needs to take medication while at camp?
During registration, you will have the opportunity to give medications for campers under 18 to our camp healthcare staff. All medications are administered in the health center and stored in a locked cabinet under the control of the person responsible for administering them. Please include enough medication for the entirety of your camper’s stay. All medications must be in their original container.
What if my camper has significant medical needs?
At Camp Marshall, we are able to care for campers whose medical and health needs do not require special training. If you or your camper have specific needs and are interested in participating in a camp session, please contact us at camp@diomontana.com.
What if my camper has food allergies?
If your camper has a food allergy, be sure include that in your registration form so that we can be prepared for your camper’s arrival. Our kitchen is happy to accommodate food allergies. Feel free to contact our office to discuss dietary issues before your child arrives.
